Introduction | Tim has been sailing since he was 6 years old in the San Francisco Bay area. At 16, he bought a Laser that he raced and placed first several times. After college, sailing was put aside to do some mountaineering, rock climbing & ice climbing which included Alpamayo in Peru, Nepal, Mooses tooth in Alaska, Matahorn in Switzerland, Mt.Blanc in France and Mt.Logan in Canada. Tim climbed all the 14ers in Colorado, several alone. Tim also biked across America unsupported, and para-glided for several years. I traveled to countries such as India, Italy, East Germany, Japan, Philippines, Denmark, Hungary, Austria. During my 20s, I Skydived at the Winchester drop zone in Canada and obtained my Advanced Scuba diving certification. I moved from Montreal to Colorado in 1995 to enjoy the great telemark and backcountry skiing. There, I learned how to rock & ice climb and hiked several peaks. I enjoyed rock climbing in Gorge Du Verdon France and in Peru. When Tim and I met, we climbed together in the Tetons & Nepal to mention only a few places. Since we live near Lake Dillon, we decided to sail together and joined the Dillon Yatch club in Colorado to race most week-ends in the summer. |

I found your names associated with J29 named Chaos, I am the new owner. I am trying to figure out where the boat has been sailed and for what years.
ReplyDeleteIf you can help, thanks!
Doug
The boat is being moved to Bear Lake which sit in both Utah / Idaho.
Hi Doug, Wow, it always amazes me how people connect. So, as for Chaos, my husband and I crewed on Chaos for several years racing on Lake Dillon in Colorado. I contacted the owner of Chaos at the time to see if he was willing to give you some information. His name is Scott Kennedy and he asked me to give you his email which is tscottkennedy@comcast.net Scott being the owner, he has much more information about Chaos than I do. Good luck Doug.
